Graduations are known for being boring affairs. Imagine sitting with hundreds (or thousands) of fellow graduates, waiting for your name to be called so you can have your five seconds of glory as you are handed a piece of paper. Sounds fun, huh?But that wasn’t the case for Batch 2015 of the Kahuku High and Intermediate School in Hawaii. The students had something in mind. For their graduation, they decided to have a song and dance number for the crowd’s entertainment. And yes, it was captured on video and is now going viral.
In the 10 minute video, the class of 2015 decided to shake things up with a creative mash-up of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again,” The Jackson 5′s “ABC,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Wanz’s “Thrift Shop,” Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” and We Are Toonz’s “Drop That Nae Nae.” They even included the ”Kaipahua Kura,” their take on the Maori war dance haka.
