A man cut off his wife’s head and carried It down the street after she cheated on him

A shocking video shows a man carrying his wife's severed head through busy city streets is discovered his wife had been cheating on him, and murdered her.

The man was caught on camera by horrified onlookers as he appeared to carry his wife's bloody remains through the bustling city of Pune, near Mumbai, India.
Several passers-by stare at the man as he walks casually along the pavement, although others appear not to notice what he is carrying in his hand.

The police have identified the man as Ramchandra Sheu Chavan (53), resident of Oswal Plot near Ganga Osian Park in Sukhsagar Nagar. His deceased wife has been identified as Sonabai Ramchandra Chavan (45). The police said that Ramchandra beheaded his wife suspecting an illicit affair with his son-in-law. An offence of murder was lodged in this case at the Bharati Vidyapeeth (BVP) police station. His daughter-in-law Sunita Rajesh Chavan (25) filed the first information report (FIR).

The police said that Ramchandra is a native of Gulbarga in Karnataka, but has settled down in Pune for the last 40 years. He was working as a watchman at Oswal Plot for 20 years. The plot is surrounded by high rise buildings.


Ramchandra was residing in a house on the plot with his wife, sons Rajesh and Umesh, daughter-in-law Sunita and two grandsons. Police said that he also had two daughters who were married and lived with their husbands outside Pune.
