LOOK: Abandoned old lady in Manila needs help

A concerned netizen posted a photo of an abandoned old lady in Manila who needs help. Apparently, the elderly woman is locked inside her residence.

A certain Ayesha Liezel Danan, whose Facebook profile shows that she's a seller from Tribal DDB Philippines, on June 4 said she uploaded the following picture to help the old lady.

According to Ayesha, the elderly woman lives in an old house, measuring 100 square meters, located at Bagong Buhay Street, Balik Balik, Sampaloc, Manila.

Everyday, the old lady lies down the ground so she will be able to peek at the lower portion of their gate and ask for food from passersby or her neighbors, the uploader narrated.

The woman's companion in the house is her nephew since her only child already passed away and her grandchild is living abroad, Ayesha shared.

Allegedly, stories circulating around the neighboorhood say her relatives are just waiting for her to die so they can sell her house and lot.

 Social media users called out concerned government agencies to help and rescue the old lady who is locked in her own house.

Ayesha's post already got 1,643 likes, 6,884 shares, and over 1,000 comments as of 7 a.m. today.
