LOOK: #WalangForever: Brownout interrupts #ForevermoreFinale in Iloilo


ILOILO – Residents in Barangay San Nicolas, La Paz, Iloilo, were disappointed after a power interruption occurred during the airing of the final episode of hit Kapamilya series “Forevermore.”
Residents were excited to watch the final episode of the love story of Xander Grande (Enrique Gil) and Agnes Calay (Liza Soberano).
They said the power interruption happened at the wrong time.
The brownout only lasted 10 minutes, but the teleserye was already finished by the time power was restored.
The Panay Electric Cooperative is now looking into the cause of the power interruption.
The much-awaited “Forevermore” final episode proved that forever exists, as Xander and Agnes vowed to love one another for the rest of their lives.
In the said episode, Xander asked Agnes to marry him while on top of of Mt. Pulag, “kung saan humahalik ang langit sa lupa.” Agnes said yes.
Millions watched the finale of "Forevermore" on Friday with many enthralled by the mystery surrounding the series' conclusion.
The hashtag #ForevermoreFinale trended on Twitter, as well as the phrases “Kung Tayo,” “Rebound” and “Erich.”
“Kung Tayo” referred to the opening scene of the final episode, where Xander at Agnes talked about what they would do if they were still a couple.
“Rebound” and “Erich,” meanwhile, referred to Xander’s breakup with Alex, played by Erich Gonzales.
