A part of us wonders if maybe she got confused as to whether
or not the girl was taking the piss (sorry) and just acting up on
camera or just didn't hear her when she said she needed to pee, or if
reporting on the shooting was so important that she thought it could
wait, but in future when someone says 'I gotta pee', you back away and
let them be.
