What Color Is This Dress? Break Debate!

2016 presidential contenders may want to sharpen their debate skills and come out with a strong stance on where they stand on a very important issue raging across the Internet today: what color is the dress is this photo? Gold and white or blue and black?

For the record I am team gold and white.

This debate has torn the Break office in half and wide open; half of us think it’s gold and white and the other half (total nutters) think it’s blue and black. When the looming Second American Civil War is over historians will be interested to know that it was started by a user on Tumbler Caitlin McNeill who attended a wedding in Scotland last week. After her friends and family couldn’t agree on the color of the dress she decided to get others to weigh in on the debate which promptly broke the Internet. 

While I contend that her picture clearly depicts a white and gold dress, the photo of the original dress as it appears for sale is of a blue and black dress.

The evil dress.

But that’s not the question here! What is the color of the dress in the photo of the dress the woman wore to the wedding?!!
