It’s confirmed! Cristine Reyes on Sunday finally admitted on live television that she will soon have a baby.
Addressing the audience after her production number with Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual, Reyes said: “Sa mga Kapamilya po natin, I want to share po sa inyong lahat that I have a wonderful blessing. I’m having a baby.”
Turning a little emotional, Reyes said she will always be grateful for the support she is receiving from her ABS-CBN, Viva and “ASAP” families.
“Sobrang excited and masaya… Maraming maraming salamat sa pagmamahal, sa lahat ng suporta. Thank you so much. Grabeng nakakataba ng puso,” she said.
Rumors about Reyes' supposed pregnancy surfaced last August and have become a hot topic in showbiz circles.
When Reyes was interviewed on "The Buzz" last August 31, the actress confirmed that she and her non-showbiz boyfriend are already talking about settling down.
“Hindi pa po [ako engaged], pero may mga plano na po. Hindi ko pa alam, hindi ko pa masasagot 'yan ngayon. Next time na lang,” she said at the time.
Reyes, 25, noted that they are already at the right age to start a family.
