Rhema Marvanne has already endured trials in life at a young age more than most grown adults
experienced. Yet, she remains strong, mature and faithful.

In this viral video, her life story was highlighted including the tragedy she faced when she lost her mother, followed with her musical journey and amazing vocal talent.

On 2009, Rhema became a viral sensation after her father posted on YouTube videos of her singing gospel songs. Her videos gathered over 18 million views and still counting.
According to her, gospel is her style of choice for a reason.

"God called me to do gospel and I believe gospel can touch people's hearts," the surprisingly poised prodigy said on ABC 20/20.
Indeed, she has an amazing singing talent with a depth of emotion rarely heard from someone so young. Perhaps, her soulful vocal prowess was shaped with her personal tragedy that began when her mother, Wendi, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and she was only 3.
Her father, Teton Voraritskul, said he and his wife  decided not to hide their daughter from witnessing her mother’s illness. Every time Rhema’s mother undergone chemotherapy treatments and much more, she was always beside her.

“I kept on praying in my heart, 'God, please help her to feel better. Please, just heal her,’” she said.
She always tried to comfort her mother by holding her hands.

“I held her hand. I smiled at her. I told her that I was going to be OK,” she said. “I did everything I could to make her happy.”

Even until the last breath of her mother, Rhema remained on her side.
“I was sitting right beside her. Then daddy came over and we both saw the last breath she took," she said.

According to Teton, though he knows it is a traumatic experience for his daughter, he wanted Rhema to grow up strong.

Still grieving, Teton decided to introduce Rhema to the music her mother loved most, gospel. He taught his then 6-year-old daughter his wife's favorite song, "Amazing Grace."
Teton had secretly feared that his daughter might be tone deaf so he got so surprised by Rhema’s own amazing singing voice. Then, he decided to record some of her performances for a few friends and family and post them on YouTube. Within a few months, the videos went viral. "Amazing Grace" quickly became Rhema's anthem.

Within a year of her YouTube videos, she released two albums produced by her father.
This girl is indeed an inspiration to everyone to be strong and faithful. Two thumbs up for this little girl with an amazing grace!
