Hong Kong—a young woman is now healing at an ICU in a Hong Kong hospital
after suffering burns to the face, hands and legs after a middle-aged
woman threw acid on her. Three others were splashed with the acid, but
only suffered minor injuries and were already released from the
hospital. The reason behind the attack? Apparently, the younger woman
was accused of having a sexual relationship with the middle-aged woman.
As the young lady was walking, the middle-aged woman was already
waiting for her in an alley. As soon as the mistress came to sight, the
woman threw acid on her face, hands and legs. Three passers-by were
splashed as well, including a 10-year-old child.
The attacker was described as wearing a medical mask, not very tall,
female and middle-aged. Police already had a suspect in custody as of
Monday.
But the burning question is: Where is the husband in all of this mess?
