Illuminating Light Performance Of Canberra Festival

You might be wondering what this festival is. This festival is called “Enlighten Canberra.” This event is held in Australia annually. It’s an event where everybody can witness planted illuminating lights and projections from musicians and film events of local and other states.
This festival is government’s way to captivate or encourage every people to visit and see the Canberra in a whole new light every month of March. The most important display is the illuminating of Canberra’s cultural institutions after dark including the Old Parliament House, Questacon and the National Gallery of Australia.


There are also live music, film screening and after –hours tours. This festival started last year 2008 and has been held annually when Andrew Barr, Act Minister for Tourism, Sports and Recreation announced it in December 2010.
The local artist who made the projections are Rose Skinner, Jan Senbergs, Anna Madeleine and Jon Cattapan. Last year the event attracted about 115, 000 visitors and this year attracted 130,000 visitors.
